I am a stay at home mom who is thrilled to step out of the corporate world and into the world of playing and learning.  
 

As a parent, I've come to appreciate "classic" toys on a new level.   When you decide how to spend your hard-earned money, in my book there needs to be a few criteria met.   First off - will my child play with it?   If not, you've spent a lot of money for something that will sit on a shelf!   Second - is it well made?   Durability, longevity and safety are legitimate concerns of any parent.   Little is more frustrating than to bring a toy home that breaks in the first few days.   Knowing that toys end up in babies mouths means you care what it is made from too. Third - is my child learning something from playing with it?   Many toys do not encourage creative play and expression.   Classic toys, such as ours here at Discovery Toys meet all these criteria and more.   Don't be surprised if you hear a mom or grandma saying "I remember these toys, we had one years ago!"   I am happy to be associated with a company that makes such fun, inspiring toys and stands behind them 100%.
