Balancing challenges for all ages!
With multiple ways to connect, these chunky wood figures can be stacked upright, upside down or even sideways. They can even be balanced on the included parallel bars. Chunky design provides for early success by younger stackers. The owls are numbered 1-12 on one side for sequential stacking or simple number fun. Activity guide includes multiple ways to play. Early on, kids can line up all the owls in a row and group them by colour. As my daughter got older, I'd challenge her to sort the colours similar to a rainbow and line the owls up from 1 to 12, in order. It's a unique math tool to help teach addition and subtraction, and you can use it as a memory/logic game (which number is missing from the bunch?).
And you can even use the owls to form letter shapes - can you guess my daughter's favourite? "O" is for owl! I also love that you can order extra parts through Discovery Toys - we lost the wooden sticks (which she also loved playing with on their own) and were thrilled when we found out we could easily order another pair.
Thank you again Discovery Toys for another high-quality, fun, educational toy (and bonus that it's wooden)!
