This has to be my absolute favorite DT toy! I love it using it in my speech-language therapy sessions to work on speech sounds, vocabulary, directions, object permanence, grasping, and motor control! My students almost always would choose this from the toy closet and we would incorporate it into the sessions. At home my toddler loves banging on it still, particularly when he needs to release his energy or frustration. It is durable enough for kids who really like to hit hard. I like that the balls are not made of a hard plastic that’s prone to breaking or cracking but are somewhat of a softer material to withstand hitting.

I just want to say that this toy is worth every dollar spent my children which are 41/2 Years, 2 years and 6month old all play with this toy and it entertains them for hours. The other great thing is that you can buy replace balls if you lose them!

My kiddos LOVE this boat! It really takes a pounding, is great for hand-eye coordination, and has stood the test of time! When my son was in daycare and moved up to the toddler room, he was the only one that was skilled at color matching. When the daycare staff commented on it I told them - "We have this BOAT and it's awesome!" I truly believe that's what gave him the "edge" :)
