A Career That Makes a Difference!
When I began with Discovery Toys, I had no idea that I would be with the company over 42 years later! In 1981, I was a teacher and a non-mom and had the same preconceived ideas about "sales' that everyone seems to have. But, as I spent more and more time with our great products and helped more and more moms choose the best tools for their kids, I came to appreciate how many families I could impact. I left teaching in 1986 for the birth of my son, Zach, and have learned first hand how influential toys can be in the lives of children. As Zach grew, I appreciated even more the flexibility of my job, which allowed me to be there for all of his "firsts", to help in his classroom, and to be home when he was. In addition, I have met phenomenally caring people in the form of customers, hostesses, team members, and other consultants throughout the country. The free vacations have been pretty cool, too! Please let me know if I can help with free toys, a fun night out, or some extra income. Together we can make a difference!
