Four years ago, I just fell in love all over again!
My new kit of toys arrived, and I couldn’t wait to see what fun my seven grandchildren (now ages 6-27) would have!
I continue to be excited to share the joy of play, while helping parents and others impact the lives of children... Thirty-nine years ago, when my own children were in elementary, middle, and high school, I was drawn to Discovery Toys so either my husband or I would be home when they were. As a former teacher, DT gave me the opportunity to add to our family's income, while sharing something very special - something I truly believed in - with those that wanted the best for their children. I loved helping determine which products were most suited for individual needs and learning styles, while making a difference in children’s lives.
I was soon surrounded and supported by my wonderful family and friends, incredible hostesses and team members, Lane and a caring Home Office Staff, and amazing leaders in the DT family. Many longtime friendships remain today...
After many years with DT, I became the Director of a Learning Center and have worked with special needs and emotionally challenged children...Over the years, Discovery Toys has always remained a part of my life. When a friend recently asked what toys would be good for her grandchild, I knew Discovery Toys would provide the answer...And, that's when I made the decision to begin on this journey once again...
