Hey, I'm Jamie!

Welcome to my little corner of Discovery Toys, “Homegrown Play & Learning with Jamie”!

I am the mother of 4 amazing kiddos (Yes I’m totally biased, but who cares!) ages 14 to 6. I absolutely love reading, dancing, drinking coffee, and making memories with my family. I am also a lifelong learner and supporting my children’s education at home is very important to me.

When I first became a mother I had forgotten how to play and had no clue just how important play is to a child’s development. I am so grateful one of my friends introduced me to Discovery Toys! Over the last 12 years Discovery Toys has taught me how to harness the power of learning through play, has helped create bonding moments with my whole family, has helped me create a network of mom friends, and has awoken my passion for helping other families play and learn together.
