I LOVE EDUCATIONAL TOYS! I'm a mom and teacher , and it's hard to find a toy that accomplishes what I'm looking for- a toy that combines STEM, hands-on learning, creativity and fun all in one package.

 

EVEN MORE SO, it's hard to find toys that my children LOVE playing with AND NOW I'VE FINALLY FOUND SOME!! I want to make sure all my friends know about Discovery Toys!    

 

I've been buying Discovery Toys (DT) for the past several years and I LOVE how they integrate STEM, creativity, hands-on learning & thinking skills all in one package!! This combination is a parent's (and teacher's) dream come true!

      Discovery Toys has toys and games for all ages and stages but my favorites have been a blessing to my children on a continual basis and my children don't get tired of them. They are also great for Family Game Night and having friends over! You'll notice that MANY Discovery Toys have won awards for all the ways they encourage learning. Some of those awards have been for encouraging learning and engagement with learners who have special needs. This is very important and should be noted.  

 

Here are a few of our favorites: Cubic Blocks offer a challenge in spatial logic, engineering, math & other quick-thinking skills. It's a great activity for family time and it can be a blessing to a senior loved one! If you spend time with a loved one who is challenged with Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease , Cubic Blocks will stimulate their brain (and yours) all while having fun. It's great for homeschooling, classrooms and it makes for very interesting group time.  

Other family/adult/teen games you will love: Jishaku, Tricky Fingers, Family Talk, Brain Bolt, Whiz Kidz, Number Whiz to name a few.  

Mosaic Mysteries for arts and crafts lovers, Science Lab Experiments, Magnetic fun for science lovers. You name it, we've got it.    

For 4-5 year olds- Try Marbleworks for hours and hours of wonderful play. It's a best loved activity. Try Motorworks for a child who likes to put stuff together and take things a part no matter what. Try Rub Grub, Chicky Boom, Hexacus too!  

For babies- we love the Boomerang Links, Baby Barbells, Baby Triangle, Yummy Yummy and more! Research has found that when a baby has two barbells/rattles in his/her hand, it encourages brain development in the same way that crawling does! So get two barbells for your babies. :)
